SolarWarranty Pro FAQ.
Is SolarWarranty Pro cloud software?
No. It is a Windows desktop application with local or network database backends, supported by a web portal for demo registration, payment, secure downloads and licensing.
Which database backends are being used?
The updated binaries are being aligned to SQLite and SQL Server. SQLite is intended for simpler deployments; SQL Server is intended for networked multi-user sites.
Does it support multiple manufacturers?
Yes. Products, warranty periods, void reasons, inventory and manufacturer recovery workflows are designed around multi-manufacturer solar dealerships.
How does licensing work?
The web licensing process follows the the customer portal model: customer portal, secure installer download, machine ID submission, admin approval/reissue when necessary and downloadable licence files.
Are the screenshots final?
No. The SolarWarranty Pro screenshots were removed. Placeholder images are included until actual SolarWarranty Pro Windows application screenshots are available.
What roles are supported?
Admin, Manager, Staff and Technician roles are used to separate full administration, operational decisions, day-to-day data entry and inspection-only access.
Does it generate warranty documents?
Yes. The application supports warranty certificates, operational reports and manufacturer claim report packages.
Who publishes the software?
SolarWarranty Pro is published by Computer Aided Business Systems, Lagos, Nigeria. The EV code-signing certificate owner is JD & Sons Audio Production, LLC.
